I assume that someone who pressed the "M Technik" button wants to know more about me and my business. I`ll try to tell this in the following. The history that led to the foundation of my company and the philosophy standing behind it is explained.

The model flight has been my passion for a long time. After the initial sniffing into the different model flight classes, I stuck in model-aerobatic competitions 1982. Formerly this class called RC1, today it is known as F3A. Insiders know, that in F3A you should not be only a top model pilot, but also be familiar with the entire technique, around the model.

In the course of the years, I have flown some engine sizes and types. In 1994 I dared the jump from Two- on four-stroke engines (that I did not regret until today). I decided then on the YAMADA engines. These engines were not used at this time by almost any pilot in Austria. And so, as it often happens if one moves onto new territory, problems occur. My problem was a rusty ball bearing, of course right in the flight season and immediately before a competition. This drama a bad fuel caused. I had bought the engine from USA, and did not know any European trader who could supply repair parts yet. So the crisis was perfect. Finally I succeeded with very high financial expenditure, to organize parts and to participate at the competition.

This experience was decisive, that I resolved to put on a small spare parts store. With time, more and more pilots had been using this engine. And there I was the (almost) first in Austria, that had already gained some experience with these engines. I was pushed into the role of the contact person, problem solver, repair part supplier and mechanic. The expression "pushed" is not chosen correctly, because it did me always fun, to intervene helpingly. And that is like this until today.

In this long time, in which I had flown these engines, I acquired a very extensive knowledge about Yamada. This was refined since I got the possibility to cooperate directly with the manufacturer in Japan for some years. It was, thinking on my professional training and career, in fact on the hand: I should make my knowledge and my possibilities accessible to a broader public.

Then, at the end of 2002 I took the final end, to set up the company "M Technik". "M" stands for my first name of Michael or as my friends call me, for "Mike". Now, which philosophy do I attempt to pursue?

M-Technik is not only an engine and accessories market but also a competent partner with very much practical experience in adjusting and maintaining the Yamada-engines. This homepage is also no typical online-shop. Every inquiry to an engine or accessories is processed by me in person.

You have probably already noticed, that no prices are indicated. Also that has his basis.

Yamada products are high-performance engines of the highest quality you can get. Therefore they do not deserve to fling onto the market with dumping prices. Nevertheless, my prices are at the lower level of the European market.

If you are seriously interested in an engine or accessories I am sure, you do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely yours

 Michael Klamecker
